About Jordan Davidson
Jordan Davidson is a graduate of the University of Sunderland, and the Editor / Director of SpotlightUK, a North East England based music magazine, promoting musicians in the region and beyond. The website produces a range of content from reviews, interviews, features and opinion pieces, all with the goal of helping musicians reach a new audience.
While studying Journalism, Jordan got involved with the music blog as a writer, before taking over as writing team leader, and finally Editor and Director in 2018.
In 2019, SpotlightUK grew their audience substantially, taking on a large and diverse team of writers not just from the North East, but also Leeds, Manchester, and Edinburgh.
Jordan hopes to grow and extend SpotlightUK to cover music artists and musicians in more regions in the UK, while keeping its love and support for the North East’s culture at its heart.
