Jorge is a talented writer, filmmaker, and photographer, who is currently living in Sunderland.
He graduated from a Bachelor's Degree in Image and Sound (Audiovisual), with emphasis in Cinematography and Screenwriting. Jorge has published two books: Death and Stories That Lived (2016), Katy Mackenzie and the Mystery of Mortvand (2013).
“People inspire my writing. I write about people that I get to know, and people I want to know. But most of my stories are about feelings, more than anything else. They’ll be about feelings that I’ve had, or feelings that I want to express in other ways.” - Jorge Vinicio

Alongside his writing, Jorge also works as a photographer, and has created content for three channels on Youtube; Típico Imprevisível, BEJV, and Speak Up Sunderland. He has interned and worked the FETAEMG union, in their communication department; producing institutional videos and documentaries, covering events and working on the federation's website and social media; and has also produced video lessons for Praxis Softwares Gerenciais.
With a keen interest in working with films and film sets, Jorge has participated as a Photography Assistant in the short-film Toca, Maestro (Luan Reis and Rawi Santos, 2015), Art Assistant in the short-film Modorra (Lucas Pardal, Ana Tardivo Alves, 2015), and as a Production Assistant in Vöel (Bárbara Zaghi and Sofia Mussolin 2016) and Sangue (Lucas Vieira, 2016).

Sindicato (2017): A documentary about the history of the trade union movement, in the Brazil's southeast region. Jorge was the Director, Editor and Screenwriter of this project.

Currently, Jorge is staying in Sunderland, his second international experience after teaching English in Turkey. In his free time, he works writing two screenplays for feature films.
