Yusuf wrote this song as part of a mini project called “Western Sessions”.
Faceless expressions refers to that feeling of speaking to someone, and expecting answers or a reaction, but getting nothing back.
Sometimes a faceless expression is all the reaction you need.
Sunderland AfterDark
Yusuf hosted the monthly AfterDark events, held at the Independent and BURGER venues in Sunderland’s city centre. AfterDark was all about bringing people together to discuss the intricacies of life with live music, from local talents setting the scene.
