About Sophie
I'm Sophie Willox, a University of Sunderland graduate and full-time videographer at Foresight - a creative agency in Sunderland.
Alongside our client work, Foresight has grown into a training provider for emerging creatives across the North East, known as 'Creators Academy' - we deliver masterclasses with industry experts, workshops, and Adobe Certified Professional Courses in creative editing software.
My love for writing stems from my love for storytelling (and my hyper fixations with multiple T.V. shows and story based games throughout the progression of my life!)
I’ve always been drawn to short films, radio dramas, and music as a form of narrative, and really enjoy being able to tell a story that can be interpreted through many different perspectives. Big fan of a story that can make me cry and ruin my mood for days!
Sophie will be part of the upcoming 'Creative Industries Week' panel, sharing about her journey into journalism, highlights from her career, and actionable advice for emerging journalists and content producers.
